Dear Hostmonster.com Customer,
I am writing today to announce a new service that we have added to all our web hosting
accounts that are hosted with us. This new service is called SimpleScripts. It is 100%
free to use for all current and new accounts and does many fun and important tasks that
were previously difficult to do.
SimpleScripts is an automated script installer just like Fantastico (Also available in our
control panel). You simply click on the link to SimpleScripts and the rest is up to you.
You can add and remove different web based applications with the click of a button and
try out all the new FREE software that is now available for you. Another important benefit
of SimpleScripts is we have included many popular scripts that aren’t currently available
in Fantastico such as Roundcube webmail client, Drupal, Dada mail (Mailing list software),
PHPBB 3, and more. Thousands of different scripts work on Hostmonster, but many users can’t
take advantage of that because it requires a difficult manual install. We hope to alleviate
that with SimpleScripts. In addition to new scripts that SimpleScripts offers we encourage
all our current users to install with SimpleScripts before Fantastico if the script is available
in both places. We ask you to do this because SimpleScripts offers far newer versions of
software than Fantastico and is updated MUCH faster with new versions. This is EXTREMELY
important to mitigate security risks over time. This lowers our support incidents, and gives
you a better and more secure software to environment to work in!
SimpleScripts doesn’t just install software. It will allow you to remove software packages
that were installed with it, as well as maintain your installs with the newest versions of the
software. Once you install with SimpleScripts you can rest assured that maintaining those
packages will be easy and secure in the future.
We are constantly adding new software packages to SimpleScripts, so if there is something
that you want to see added to the SimpleScripts installer please let our support department
know and we will try to add the most requested software packages.
大意是说，亲爱的顾客，我们为您增加了一个新的服务SimpleScripts，而且是百分之百的免费。我心想愚人节刚过去，不会是逗我玩的吧，算了算日期，美国愚人节也过去了啊，所以就打开HOSTMONSTER的CP面板，发现真的是多了一项功能。这项功能以前已经见过，就是一键安装一些流行的PHP程序。
点开进去发现可以安装的程序还真不少。有WORDPRESS,PHPBB,DRUPAL,JOOMLA等等，我就测试了一下WORDPRESS.
wordpress是最新版本，2.5的。当然你也可以选择你想要的版本，有2.33,2.3.2,2.3.1这几个版本可以选择。选择后填写你要安装的目录，再写上标题和简介，点INSTALL就安装成功了。够简单吧。不过安装后会给你一个登陆密码，记得要记下来，如果是WP老鸟这问题难不住你，但是小菜们可是经常遇到这问题哈。
最近HOSTMONSTER空间十分的慢，也不知道是不服务器上是不是放站太多了，页面经常打不开，不停的刷新才勉强能打开，看来HOSTMONSTER上的网页都比较矜持，千呼万唤始出来。而且经常犹抱琵琶半遮面，只让看一半页面。
我早上都是快六点就醒了。一是因为睡不着，二是因为文化频道还没改版，我心里惦记。我这么多年一直很瘦，就是因为操心太多。今天早上醒后我用手机看我Email，发现hostmonster的一封mail，大意说我的米已经绑上，另外还告诉我最好重装一下wordpress，这让我十分感动，服务太好了，这就是zell孜孜不倦所追求的人性化吧。但是wordpress不用从装的，这点小问题我还是能搞定。现在我的博客运行正常。
其实昨天下班后我发现我米还没生效就比较着急，我用live chat联系他们客服，那客服叫kon，我以为是悟空。他说帮我看看，后来又说正在探讨，然后竟然离线了。我没办法，只好提交了ticket，然后一个小时左右就回信了，问我帐户，信用卡号或者密码，绑什么米，绑到什么目录。我一一写好回给他们。今天早上就发现他们已经搞好了。其实我回信一小时后他们已经搞好了，只不过我不知道，我打开内容页当时是404，那时应该是已经绑好了。写此志，特此表杨下外国人。
下面是几封信以及我和hostmonster客服的聊天记录:

Once your name servers are modified it will take approximately 24-72 hours for your DNS to fully propagate to our servers.
During this period some people (including yourself) may be able to see your site while others cannot. This is perfectly normal as most Internet Service Providers (ISP’s) take 24-72 hours to clear their cache and update your DNS changes.
Please be patient during this propagation as there is nothing that can be done to speed the process along.
NOTE: The steps above are required to Addon or Park a domain onto your account. After one of the above steps is completed then you may use the Addon Domain Tool from the cpanel to addon the domain.
Contact your current domain registrar to modify the Nameservers (DNS) to point to the us

The domain, qijuzhu.cn, is already added to your account. Please make sure to properly configure your installation of WordPress in the qijuzhu folder. You may need to remove the files from that directory and use Fantastico within cPanel to install WordPress if you are having problems. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
